The best part of any dinner celebration? The guests, of course.
It was our foodie friend’s birthday feast and she picked Spruce. Kind of like an in-between of PS Cafe and Barracks (both at Dempsey).

And ... the pretty birthday cake.
Next up? We may be having our own Julie Powell moment by experimenting with some recipes and devour the dish over more laughter and chitchat. Whilst a good meal is a blessing, a good time with friends is tops.
